Song Joongki and Kim Jiwon's Upcoming Drama 'Asadal Chronicles' Reported to Have a Budget of KRW 40 Billion, Said to Be the Korean Version of 'Game of

It seems like the drama will be huge.

'Asadal Chronicles' is produced by Studio Dragon, a famous Korean production house which has also produced 'Memories of Alhambra,' 'Player,' 'Mr. Sunshine,' 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?' and more. According to reports, the production cost is more than KRW 40 billion (approximately USD 35.5 million). Ahead of the premiere, fans have been anticipating the historical drama due to its star-studded cast and unique story plot.

'Asadal Chronicles' is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2019. Song Joongki will be paired with Kim Jiwon, and played along Jang Donggun, Kim Okbin, Jo Sungha, and more. The drama revolves around the power struggles, love, and growth of the ancient city of Asadal, the capital of Gojoseon.
