Will So Ji Sub finally get his medical license reinstated in MBC’s “Doctor Lawyer”?

“Doctor Lawyer” is a drama about a genius surgeon who becomes a medical malpractice lawyer after losing everything due to a rigged surgery and a prosecutor who loses her only family and lover through that same surgery. Together, they set out to punish those who believe that the importance of a person’s life can be ranked based on their wealth and power.

So Ji Sub stars as the titular medical malpractice lawyer Han Yi Han, who changed careers after a devastating incident in the operating room, while Im Soo Hyang stars as Geum Seok Young, a passionate prosecutor who believes firmly in justice.

Previously on “Doctor Lawyer,” the reinstatement of Han Yi Han’s medical license became an important key in his revenge plot against Goo Jin Ki (Lee Kyung Young), the man who ruined his life five years ago. Impressed by Han Yi Han, the mysterious Jayden Lee (Shin Sung Rok) struck up a deal with him: if Han Yi Han agreed to work for him, he would get his medical license reinstated. True to his word, Jayden Lee then approached Goo Jin Ki with blackmail material and asked him to get Han Yi Han his license back.

In newly released stills from the next episode of the drama, Han Yi Han is back in the operating room and seemingly performing surgery—raising the question of whether he is finally a licensed surgeon again.
