Ron Announces Upcoming Military Enlistment

March 29, Ron announced that he will be enlisting in the military on April 9.
Here is Ron’s letter, posted to his Instagram:
Hello, this is Ron.
First, I’d like to thank all of you for always giving me your love and support.
Next month, on April 9, I will be enlisting in the 28th infantry division in the Korean army. I’m enlisting at an older age [than most] because of my dreams of being an idol. Though I wasn’t able to succeed as an idol, my 20s were so meaningful to me, because I was able to meet my fellow BIGFLO members, Wave, our fans, and my wife, whom I love very much.
Nineteen months could be seen as a short time, but for me and my wife, newly married, I think it will feel like a very long time. I want to say thank you to my wife, for waiting for me, and I ask for your continued support. Thank you.
This announcement comes just months after Ron and his wife, Lee Sa Gang, held their wedding ceremony in January. The couple registered their marriage earlier in November last year.
Ron also recently said his goodbye as a member of the idol group BIGFLO, which he had been a part of since the group’s debut in 2014, after his contract with HO Company came to an end in February.
