“Romance is a Bonus Book” has ended on a high note.

The final episode of the drama, which aired on March 17, achieved average viewership ratings of 6.7 percent, peaking at 7.2 percent. The episode’s ratings were a personal best and topped its time slot for all cable and public broadcasting networks.

Kang Dan Yi (Lee Na Young) returned to the publishing company where she prepared for the “10 person” project with Oh Ji Yool (Park Kyu Young). Their painstakingly-prepared first book was received poorly by the founding members as it was a book that did not suit the trend and would not sell well.

After much deliberation, the publishing company decided to publish it, deciding that they should publish books with value and make up for sales with other books. The publishing company also decided to use a blind recruitment system where they would judge based on skills, a real indication of the change Kang Dan Yi had brought about.

Kang Dan Yi and Cha Eun Ho’s romance came to a happy ending as they became each other’s “one and only book,” sealing their story with a sweet kiss.
