RIIZE has signed with RCA Records!
On September 5, SM Entertainment revealed that their rookie boy group RIIZE signed a label contract with American record label RCA Records, which is under the global company Sony Music Entertainment, and that they will be releasing their first single album “Get A Guitar” locally.
As the second oldest record label in the United States, RCA Records showcases music of diverse genres and houses famous artists worldwide including Doja Cat, Justin Timberlake, Khalid, P!NK, Foo Fighters, SZA, and more.
SM’s CBO (Chief Business Officer) Jang Yoon Joong shared, “RIIZE is opening a new generation of K-pop. It’s an honor to collaborate with RCA records, and we look forward to making history together.”
RCA Records CEO Peter Edge shared, “[The members of] RIIZE are very versatile artists. We sincerely welcome them to be a part of the RCA family, and we are very happy to work with such an awesome team from SM.” RCA Records COO (Chief Operating Officer) John Fleckenstein commented, “We anticipate RIIZE to break the boundaries of global pop with their completely new perspective.”
RIIZE dropped their first single album “Get A Guitar” on September 4, and ahead of their debut, the group surpassed 1.03 million stock pre-orders for their debut album.
