Both TV Chosun’s “Red Balloon” and JTBC’s “Agency” ended on all-time highs last night!
On February 26, both weekend dramas earned the highest viewership ratings of their entire runs for their respective series finales.
According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of “Red Balloon” scored an average nationwide rating of 11.6 percent, marking a significant rise from the previous night and setting a new personal record for the series.
“Agency” similarly rose to a nationwide average of 16.0 percent for its final episode, achieving the fifth-highest ratings of any drama in JTBC history. The only JTBC dramas to earn higher ratings to date are “The World of the Married” (which ended on a nationwide average of 28.4 percent), “Reborn Rich” (26.9 percent), “SKY Castle” (23.8 percent), and “Itaewon Class” (16.5 percent).
Meanwhile, tvN’s “Crash Course in Romance,” which has just one week left in its run, also climbed to a new all-time high ahead of its final two episodes. The latest broadcast of the romantic comedy scored an average nationwide rating of 14.3 percent.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Three Bold Siblings” achieved its highest ratings yet last night as well. The latest episode of the popular drama earned a nationwide average of 27.6 percent, marking the fifth week in a row that the show has seen its ratings rise to a new all-time high.
