Recap Thailand Drama "The Miracle of Teddy Bear" Episode 6

The Miracle of Teddy Bear (คุณหมีปาฏิหาริย์) is a Thai romantic-drama-fantasy series directed by Paajaew Yuthana Lorphanpaibul and stars Sarin Ronnakiat, Thuchapon Koowongbundit, Thanapon Jarujitranon and Parada Chutchavalchotikul, alongside other cast members. The series has 15 episodes and The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 6 has a runtime of 89 minutes.

The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 6 starts with a distressed Song trying to call as he faints away. We see Gen immediately rush to his house and help him to a hospital, where the former’s mother works. Putting his worry at ease, Gen’s mother informs him that Song is just suffering from diarrhoea. Gen’s caring gesture is picked up by both his parents. They question him about who Song is and why he cares about Song if he isn’t his friend. Gen tries to make up excuses but, he is clearly lying and that is understood by his parents and, Gen who is overhearing the conversation.

Later in the night as Gen waits by a hospitalized Song, the latter expresses his love for the former. Song confesses that he loves Gen, even though Gen does not respond back. Meanwhile, we get a peek into Na’s trauma from the past when she comes across a blanket that brings back the memory of an angry Sib. She tumbles into the attic terrified by the memory-making her old history books fall when Tofu rushes in to check on her. The two talk about Na’s profession of being a social sciences teacher once and, how the past, present and future are interlinked.

 

Tofu visits a stressed-out Nut after this conversation and, tells him how he wants Nut to be happy and, that they should create memories together to help Nut through. A heartfelt conversation leads Nut to ask Tofu out on a date. The pair visit the market and have fun. By the end, Tofu is accidentally drunk and Nut takes him home on his bike. They spot at a seemingly meaningless spot but, it soon starts to rain and the pair are lost in happiness, glee and each other as they let the raindrops wash away all their troubles.

When they return home, the boys clean up and get back to their own things- Nut gets to writing his script and, Tofu goes off to bed feeling giddy. However, later Nut goes to Tofu’s room to offer him something to drink before bed when he discovers that Tofu has a temperature. Nut wipes Tofu’s entire body and helps him into fresh clothes while Tofu stays unconscious. He takes his laptop and coffee and works in Tofu’s room to look after him. As Nut writes The script, the audiences get a detailed look at how Tofu and Nut spend their time together in the marketplace.

The next morning we see Tofu and Nut waking up in the same bed, wrapped in a hug. Nut explains that he only slept beside Tofu to bring down Tofu’s fever but, Tofu is just happy with the gesture and does not care much about the justifications. Romance sparks don’t stop here as Song continues to pursue Gen and, when the former finds out that the latter has washed his clothes, he believes that Gen is opening up.

This revelation is too much for Gen and the two get in a scuffle on the bed, which is when Gen’s parents walk in. Later, Gen, Gen’s parents and Song take a walk together and they playfully discuss the status of Gen and Song’s relationship.

 

Following up on Tarn’s case, we see Saen and Jan clash. Jan constantly hints that Saen must be guilty about something and that is why is looking after Tarn so much. But we see Anik’s leads suggesting that Saen could not have been with Tarn at the time of the attack. The subsequent suspect is Jan. The next day, we see Jan interact with an unknown man. When Saen confronts her, she suggests that he is jealous to which Saen lashes out that he isn’t and, she should agree to the divorce so Saen can date Na.

On her return to Bangkok, we see a hysteric Na walking in front of Jan’s cab unknowingly assuming some other man to be Saen. This angers Jan and, she humiliates Na in front of Tofu and their neighbours. Back when Tofu takes Na back inside, in a flashback we see that Na had picked Sib over Saen due to stability in life. On the other hand, Nut’s work flourishes as his boss is finally happy with his script.

 

He accepts Tofu’s friend request too, which upsets Prib who is seen visiting Tarn. We get a look back into Prib and Tarn’s relationship and how when they could not become lovers, Tarn offered Prib to be his sister and stay friends forever.

Meanwhile, Gen tells Nut that he should get serious about Tofu before someone else comes in and sweeps him up. When Nut returns home he sees Song and Tofu talking. The duo had been talking about how Tofu is possibly in love with Nut. Song then goes ahead and asks Tofu to come over for dinner and games but, on Nut’s intervention as he is jealous, Tofu and Nut end up going to the movies later. Even at the movies, Tofu is asked out by a random stranger, which makes Nut angry and jealous.

 

Nut pulls Tofu home and, is initially cold to him. But later the duo make things up as they realize that things are different between them after the date. Tofu and Nut kiss, which is followed by Tofu calling Nut soft and sweet as jelly which triggers the latter. Immediately after Nut charges Tofu saying who he is as the sentence seemingly reminds him of someone Nut already knows. The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 6 ends with a crying Tofu as Nut holds him by the collar and charges him.

Final Thoughts: The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 6

The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 6 is cute and endearing. Watching Nut embrace Tofu’s feelings and, revert back to his own is liberating. Gen opening up to Song is also a subplot we are all surely looking forward to. Even Prib is less irritating and more humane in this episode, especially her scene with Tarn in a flashback. The Tarn mystery continues to haunt us all and, at this point, we would rather want more than one revelation in every episode to keep the mystery element rolling as it often feels simply like a romantic drama at times.
