Recap Thailand Drama "The Miracle of Teddy Bear" Episode 15

The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 15 opens on a romantic note as we see Gen cooking for Song after spending the night with Song. However, before Gen can leave Song’s father walks in on them. Song, thereafter, goes through a tough confrontation with his dad revealing his sexuality and, the fact that he is seeing Gen. Anik is unresponsive. However, after Gen leaves, Anik approaches Song and apologizes for his absence as a father and, asks for some time to adjust to the new information.

Soon after, Anik receives a call from his officer stating how Saen’s boss, Kaew has flown to Bangkok and, that the hospital Tarn is being kept in is funded a lot by her and, her company TRD. At the hospital, Jan and Kaew meet in Tarn’s hospital room. Kaew makes it clear how she keeps a close eye on every person she is involved with, which also includes Saen’s wife, Jan. Jan assures her that the busybodies digging in Tarn’s case will be taken care of by her.

As for our busybodies, Tofu and Nut, we see the two go out on a lunch date as Nut had promised to take Tofu on a trip after Chaing Mai, which no longer seems possible, so a meal has to do for time being. We see the two spend some lovely time together and, Song and Gen are also seen on the side enjoying their time together. Meanwhile, Prib is seen visiting Tarn.

Nut is interrupted by a work call during his meal with Tofu. We see Tofu sneak out to get a gift from Song and Gen for Nut. But, before he can return to Nut he is attacked by a masked man. However, Nut saves him just in time, although Tofu is visibly hurt. After his dressing is done by Nut, Tofu visits Jan at her house. They both have an intense conversation filled with secrets being revealed and, threats. But it is soon cut short when Jan receives a phone call from Saen.

Jan and Saen are seen next in the hospital visiting Tarn, where the doctors reveal exists an abscess in Tarn’s brain that needs to be operated on. The surgery is high risk as it can also cause Tarn to die but, if the surgery is not done, the abscess can kill Tarn too. The costs are borne by Kaew, who walks into the room saying she will help financially for the surgery. We also see Tofu at the hospital who visit because Jan received the call about Tarn while Tofu was with her and, he wanted to know for himself what was the emergency. Later, Saen offers to drop Tofu home as he wants to see Na.

At the house, Na is asleep and, beside her lies the blanket given by Saen during her wedding. Saen recounts Sib’s death, the fact that he beat Na and, how it was because of taking the wrong medicines he was allergic to that Na got because she wasn’t aware. Saen leaves and after that Nut asks Tofu about what is on his mind as he gets to know that Tofu visited Tarn again. Tofu talks about his suspicions about Jan and Saen. But, Nut is unable to digest it as Saen has always been a kind and helping figure to the family.

But critical information is revealed about Sib’s death that Na, in fact, knew the medicines Sib was allergic to and it was never bought home as Nut was the one buying the meds. As for Tarn’s surgery, one of the doctors informs the waiting members- Jan, Saen and Prib that the surgery is going fine as Tarn’s vitals are normal, although the surgery does not help his brain recovery. The doctor reveals a crucial fact when Anik enters the scene as he is the investigating officer. However, when Anik steps out of the hospital to inform the office about the fact, he sees Song and, is shot by an unknown person. Anik is immediately rushed to the hospital for care.

Prib tells Song, Gen, Nut and Tofu present in front of Anik’s room about a piece of splinter found by the doctor in Tarn’s brain that is from the attack weapon which can help them find the attacker. Tofu also reveals that his attack might have been intentional as the attacker had threatened him as he had handed a piece of information about a broken tile to Anik. The group deduces that all these are being done by the assaulter. Jan and Saen overhear the conversation and, Jan suggests going to the police to come clean as the splinter is proof that Saen did not put Tarn in a coma. But, Saen is dismissive of the idea.

The next segment of the series is filled with hard revelations. We see Saen visiting Kaew and asking why is she set on killing people and, offers to negotiate with Tarn on waking up. However, Kaew listens to no explanations or deals and, says that Saen will be guilty anyway given what he has done in his past. At this point, we see Jan is brought in by Kaew’s mean, who has been following Saen. Kaew goes on to reveal what actually happened.

Tarn knew that Saen had killed Sib, which he got to know when he visited Na and, handed over the comic to him. Saen’s killing Sib had driven Na crazy. his all came in front during the negotiation with Tarn. And, before Saen could hit Tarn, he was attacked by Kaew’s men. Later he was taken away and, attacked further by them. Saen could do nothing as Tarn’s declaration of him killing Sib was recorded by these men. We see Jan is unaware of it. She had helped clean Tarn’s house thinking Saen attacked Tarn.

Later, in the episode, Jan suggests that given everything Saen has done, there is no point begging anymore and, they must take things into their hands to save themselves. Meanwhile, when Nut and Tofu return home, they see Keunchai bit the blanket given by Saen. The blanket shrieks for help and, Tofu is finally able to help it. The blanket recounts the day she felt the same hurt which happens to be the day Sib died. Tofu gets to know that it was Saen who swapped the allergic pills with the real pills and gave them to Saen.

More is revealed by Nut’s backpack in the attic who claims that Nut knew about his father’s allergies and, so did Tarn as both went to the pharmacy together to fetch Sib’s medicines. In fact, the backpack had also seen Tarn meeting Na later as it happened to be the day Na had taken it out for a wash. The backpack recounts the conversation and, how Na had panicked seeing the pills in her house that Sib was allergic to in front of Tarn. Tofu puts two and two together to deduce how Tarn knew about what Saen did.

In the hospital, Song and Gen both stay in Anik’s cabin to look after him. Anik gains sense and, sees Gen putting a blanket on Song, only realizing how much Gen cares for Song. Anik’s consciousness also is a sigh of relief for both Song and Gen. But, at home we see Tofu falling sick. In the next segment, Tofu is taken to the hospital and, Nut reveals that the doctor has diagnosed Tofu with stress-induced gastritis. When Tofu gains consciousness we see him head to Tarn’s hospital room with a knife but, later we find from Nut that Tofu has merely cut his hand.

In the hospital, we also see Tofu meet Saen and, the two talk about Tofu’s lies and, Saen’s situation. Meanwhile, at the house, Jan confronts Na and tells her about how the truth of Sib’s death has spread. She isn’t downright rude to Na, but she wishes Na took steps for herself so that Saen would not have to move to murder his own brother. The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 15 ends with Tofu and Nut taking a trip together and, spending some quality time after everything that happened.

The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 15: Final Thoughts

Well, a lot happened in The Miracle of Teddy Bear Episode 15 which could have been easily dropped into pieces throughout the 14 episodes we have already seen. This episode focused on Tarn’s attack and, the events that led up to it, revealing some dirty secrets that might just be too much for the audiences to grasp in one go. The show just turned two very clean and, tragically beautiful characters- Saen and Na- into some conspiratory monsters. Well, it is only acceptable that the characters have grey shades to them but, well, it just downright looks like a murder conspiracy now to kill Sib. Even, Tofu thinking about/trying to kill Tarn, isn’t it just too much at this point?

As for Tofu’s situation with Nut, it is still a bothersome matter given how Tofu isn’t truthful with Nut yet and, it is the fifteenth episode! it is difficult to see how the show is going to end, but, we can only assume that we get something good as the end credits roll.
