Woori The Virgin(우리는 오늘부터) is a 2022 South Korean Romantic Comedy Series which is the remake 2014 American Series Jane The Virgin. This drama is directed by Jung Jung-hwa and stars Im Soo-hyang, Sung Hoon and Shin Dong-wook in lead roles. The series runs for 14 episodes. Woori The Virgin Episode 13 has a runtime of 60 minutes.

In Woori The Virgin Episode 13, Raphael and Kang-jae bickering over who is going to date Woo-ri. Both of them have asked her out but Woo-ri doesn’t know what to do and whom to choose. The next day, Kang-jae arrives at Woo-ri’s office and confesses to her that he was wrong about what he did and after thinking about the time they spent apart, Kang-jae thinks that he loves Woo-ri regardless.

Raphael also visits Woo-ri right after Kang-jae and apologizes to her for being so hasty about getting married. Everything that has been happening in her life has made Woo-ri distract from her work, just when she has been promoted to a lead drama writer. On the other hand, Chairman Kim is still on the loose and has kept Ma-ri’s mother hostage. Kim plans to take over the Diamond medical foundation with the help of Ma-ri and has sent Ma-ri to fetch the details of all the illegal activities in the hospital.

Raphael’s father has left the hospital to live in a monastery to repent all of his sins. Before going, he tells Raphael that Im Hyun-sook or the chairman Kim is his older sister who was born before they got married. Kang-jae has something going in his mind and his junior Na Hee notices that. Kang-jae is about to tell her when he gets a call from Raphael. Ma-ri gives Kim the USB in exchange for her mother’s freedom. However, Ma-ri has given fake documents to Kim and before Kim could attack Ma-ri, Kang-jae arrives with Na Hee and arrests Chairman Kim.

Raphael had caught Ma-ri stealing the documents and she tells him the truth. She tells Raphael that she is tired of being Ma-ri and wants to live as a Mal-ja again. She agrees to everything that she has done wrong to Raphael and regrets where it has led her. With her help, Raphael could save his family and their business. He comes to send off Mal-ja with a goodbye. Though she had conned Raphael many times, he is also grateful to her for saving his family.

On his last day of the drama shoot, Choi Sung-il gets a surprise visit from Woo-ri’s family, Raphael and Kang-jae. This is when Woo-ri calls him father for the first time. After that day, the father and daughter grow closer to each other and Sung-il tells her that her mom has rejected her once but he wants to propose to her again. Woo-ri offers her help for the event and also gets her grandmother involved in it.

Choi Sung-il purposes to Oh Eun-ran and she accepts his ring but does not accept his proposal. She puts a condition before she accepts his marriage proposal. She asks her daughter to make a choice between Raphael and Kang-jae and only after she has done it, her mom will say yes to Sung-il. Woo-ri tells them that she has made her choice already. Who will it be? Raphael or Kang-jae?

Woori The Virgin Episode 13 Review

Woori The Virgin Episode 13 brings back the lost touch of the rom-com. Some previous episodes were too focused on Chairman Kim only to disappoint in the end. However, the Rom-com element is back and the subplots have moved forward or come to a closure. Ma-ri leaves Raphael on good terms. Raphael’s father also leaves on good terms. Woo-ri has accepted her father and her mother has her father as her husband. In the final episode, we will see whom Woo-ri has chosen.
