Recap Korean Drama "Woori The Virgin" Episode 11

Woori The Virgin(우리는 오늘부터) is a 2022 South Korean Romantic Comedy Series which is the remake 2014 American Series Jane The Virgin. This drama is directed by Jung Jung-hwa and stars Im Soo-hyang, Sung Hoon and Shin Dong-wook in lead roles. The series runs for 14 episodes. Woori The Virgin Episode 11 has a runtime of 60 minutes.

In Woori The Virgin Episode 11, Kang-jae accuses Raphael of being Chairman Kim but Woo-ri asks him for evidence that Kang-jae doesn’t have. She tells Kang-jae to stop mixing his personal feelings in his work. Raphael drops Woo-ri at her home and he had noticed Kang-jae following them. Raphael asks him if he is really suspecting him or is it because of Woo-ri.

Kang-jae has been suspended from office for constantly bothering the Diamond medical foundation. He has been following Raphael and sees him go inside Woo-ri’s house and come out the next day. Raphael’s grandmother makes Raphael stay the night and he falls with Woo-ri after talking all night. Woo-ri’s grandmother says that they should set the date for their marriage but her mom does not approve of it.

Woo-ri’s mom doesn’t think that Raphael is the right choice for Woo-ri. She believes that it is a temporary fling that they have because of the baby. She tells Woo-ri to not get more involved with Raphael because it will only hurt her later. Raphael overhears their talk and later convinces Eun-ran that he will keep Woo-ri happy because he hasn’t felt this sure about anyone before. Raphael’s father has also asked Raphael and Woo-ri to start thinking about marriage as soon as possible.

Kang-jae was not allowed to do an investigation while he was suspended for a week but his junior, Na-hee has done it for him and has found a big lead. Lee Jong-gu, a cosmetic surgeon at Diamond Hospital was often seen with No Mang-chul and they guess that he knows Chairman Kim and performs plastic surgery on the criminals. Kang-jae tries to find the documents about Kim from the doctor while Na-hee distracts him but Raphael meddles in his operation. However, Kang-jae gets a call from the doctor later.

The doctor had told him that he knows about Chairman Kim and they set a place to meet. When Kang-jae and Na-hee reach the place, they find the doctor dead. Kang-jae’s senior is the spy who has been reporting the case progress to Chairman Kim, though it looks like he is doing it unwillingly. While checking the cameras, they see Raphael’s father entering the place where the doctor was killed.

Kang-jae starts following Raphael again but finds him dancing in a studio. Raphael takes Woo-ri to the meet and greet event of her favourite author and gives her yet another surprise. He has arranged a flash mob and as soon as it ends, he proposes to Woo-ri for marriage. Woo-ri doesn’t like it and refuses his proposal.

Woo-ri doesn’t want to get married yet and remembers her mother’s words about Raphael liking her only because of the baby. She asks Rapahel if that is the case and he says that it is best for the baby if they get married. Woo-ri sees Raphael as a man and not as the baby’s father whereas Raphael sees Woo-ri as his baby’s mother. There is a conflict between them and a big question mark on their future together.

Woori The Virgin Episode 11 Review

Woori The Virgin Episode 11 sways in all directions. The rom-com has turned into a suspense thriller with a bit of drama. Many subplots take too much time and the main story has gone on a sidetrack. Some subplots could have been easily avoided as they do not constitute to the further story.
