Love In Contract or alternatively known as MonTuesWedThursFriSat is a South Korean Romantic Comedy Drama written by Ha Gu-dam and directed by Nam Sung-woo. The series stars Park Min-young, Go Kyung-pyo, Kim Jae-young and Kang Hyung-suk in leading roles. The series runs for 16 episodes and Love In Contract Episode 1 has a runtime of 70 minutes.
Love In Contract Episode 1 starts with Choi Sang-eun having dinner with her husband, Jung Ji-ho. However, soon after dinner, she takes his leave and proceeds to meet another man in the morning. Sang-eun runs a business called ‘Single Life Helper’ which provides wife services to unmarried men.
Sang-eun herself pretends to be the wife of anyone who needs her service for business purposes. She pretends to be Ki-doo’s wife in front of his schoolmates who bullied him. Most of Sang-eun’s marriages aren’t registered because it requires different charges.

Sang-eun has been running this business for 13 years and gaining money isn’t her only purpose. She has often helped men who have sincere reasons to get married. Gwang-nam is his father’s most-cherished only son and his father only cared about him while ignoring his elder sisters.
However, he is gay and cannot fulfil his father’s wish to bring a daughter-in-law. Gwang-nam didn’t care about his father’s opinion but when his sisters found out that he was gay, they were disappointed and hence, Gwang-nam marries Sang-eun to make them happy.
Gwang-nam and Sang-eun get divorced soon after but stay together as roommates. Both of them have similar personalities and get along together. They have become best friends and Gwang-nam knows about all of Sang-eun’s clients, including the one known as Mr. Payment or Mr. Pension. Jung Ji-ho has been Sang-eun’s client for 5 years and has made regular payments.
Jung Ji-ho is a little strange but working with him feels like a holiday to Sang-eun. Ji-ho barely speaks and always cooks delicious meals for Sang-eun. He is the only client that Sang-eun has been meeting every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the past 5 years.

Actor Kang Hae-jin is the heir of the Gangjin group of industries but he wants it to be a secret. He often gets into love scandals when most of them are just rumours. He is often seen talking over video calls with his cat which leads to misunderstandings. He has named his cat after his first love, Jaime whom he hasn’t seen for many years. Gwang-nam tries to flirt with Hae-jin but ends up getting into a fight with his manager at a restaurant.
We see a flashback into Sang-eun’s life where she appears to be a daughter of a rich family, with her given name being Jaime. Sang-eun was forced to marry at the young age of twenty but she blew it off and has been living on her terms since then. Her caretaker, Ms. Yoo has still been receiving a salary from Sang-eun but they share a bitter relationship.
Jung Ji-ho is strange in many ways. He is a lawyer but his activities are suspicious. He has been receiving counselling to learn how to converse with people and often talks about ending things with people who leave him. Sang-eun thinks that he is a calm person but he gets enraged after seeing a woman and follows her home. The next day, the woman is found stabbed to death.
Sang-eun has decided to retire from her current job and wants to start a new life. Gwang-nam and she have the same dream- to move to another country and meet a man there, who doesn’t know anything about them. Sang-eun finishes her final assignment and gets relaxed but Gwang-nam reminds her that she hasn’t told Mr. Payment about her retirement yet. Sang-eun has gotten used to Ji-ho and finds it difficult to tell him the truth. However, after grasping the reality, she understands that the best gift that she can give to her best client is to leave him so that he can have a normal life.

Love In Contract Episode 1 gave us everything that a Romantic Comedy would ask for. Park Min-young is back again with a new series in her forte genre and she never fails to deliver. Her character Sang-eun is intriguing and so is her profession. Ji-ho, Gwang-nam and Hae-jin, the three men in Sang-eun’s life with three completely different stories are ought to bring fun elements to the series.
