"Pilot" Surpasses 3 Million Moviegoers After Topping Box Office For 11 Days Straight

“Pilot” shows no signs of slowing down at the Korean box office!

Ever since its release on July 31, the new comedy movie has enjoyed an uninterrupted 11-day streak at No. 1 at the Korean box office.

On August 11, the Korean Film Council announced that “Pilot” had officially surpassed 3 million moviegoers—meaning that less than two weeks into its run, it is already the the third most successful Korean film released this year.

“Pilot” tells the story of a pilot (played by Jo Jung Suk) who becomes unemployed overnight, but succeeds in getting a new job after making a dramatic transformation.
