MBC’s Partners For Justice might return to viewers with a second season.
On October 30, a source from the MBC drama department revealed “The second season of ‘Partners For Justice’ is slated to air in the later half of 2019. The details on the exact date are flexible and subject to change.”
The source added, “We are in positive talks with the actors.”
“Partners For Justice” aired its finale on July 17. The last episode had the subtitle, “To be continued – the story will go on” at the end, allowing viewers to expect another season. The director also revealed his thoughts on creating a seasonal drama during the drama’s press conference before its premiere. Rumors regarding the creation of the drama’s second season started since July 18, and MBC finally revealed that they are in talks with the production company and the actors.
The drama tells the story of a quirky forensic doctor and a newbie prosecutor. Jung Jae Young played the doctor Baek Bum, and Jung Yu Mi played the prosecutor Eun Sol. Other strong supporting actors such as Lee Yi Kyung, Park Eun Suk, Stephanie Lee, and Oh Man Seokappeared in the drama.
