Park Sung Woong Confirmed to Join Lee Joon Hyuk In “Forest Of Secrets” Spin-Off Drama

 

Park Sung Woong will be starring in a new spin-off series of “Forest Of Secrets”!

On November 24, TVING confirmed that Park Sung Woong will star in the new drama “Good or Bad Dong Jae” (literal title) as the role of the antagonist to Lee Joon Hyuk’s character.

“Forest of Secrets” first aired in 2017 and told the story of an emotionless prosecutor named Hwang Si Mok (Cho Seung Woo) and a warm-hearted police officer named Han Yeo Jin (Bae Doona) who join forces to solve hidden mysteries and investigate corruption. In 2020, the show returned with a second season where Hwang Si Mok and Han Yeo Jin reunited after two years under different circumstances, with the pair on opposite sides of a tense situation involving the police and the prosecutor’s office. Lee Joon Hyuk starred in both seasons as the corrupted prosecutor Seo Dong Jae.

In “Good or Bad Dong Jae,” which focuses on Seo Dong Jae’s character, Lee Joon Hyuk will reprise his role as Seo Dong Jae, a prosecutor at the Cheongju District Prosecutors’ Office who has a bleak future due to the stigma of having been corrupted in the past.

Park Sung Woong will take on the role of Nam Wan Sung, the CEO of Lee Hong Construction Company. Nam Wan Sung thinks of Seo Dong Jae as a pain in the neck who deters his redevelopment project and starts a fierce fight against him by revealing his past mistakes. Park Sung Woong, who is known for his outstanding acting skills, is raising viewers’ anticipation for his new transformation.
