The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for all idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from September 17 to October 17.
BTS rose to the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 6,280,605, marking a 9.39 percent increase in their score since September. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Jungkook,” “Jimin,” and “V,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “contract renewal,” “congratulate,” and “success.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 91.10 percent positive reactions.
BLACKPINK climbed to second place for October after seeing a 71.70 percent rise in their brand reputation index since last month, bringing their total score to 4,917,759.
Meanwhile, NewJeans took third place for the month with a brand reputation index of 4,721,727.
IVE came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 4,458,788, marking a 21.03 percent increase in their score since September.
Finally, SEVENTEEN rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,632,737, marking a 4.30 percent rise in their score since last month.
