Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on September 16!
NewJeans’ latest mini album “Get Up” spent its sixth non-consecutive week at No. 1, making it only the second K-pop girl group album ever to top the chart for six weeks (following BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM”). Additionally, “Get Up” has now become the first K-pop girl group album ever to spend seven consecutive weeks in the top 30 of the Billboard 200.
NCT DREAM’s latest album “ISTJ” climbed back up to No. 3 in its third consecutive week on the World Albums chart, in addition to becoming the group’s first album ever to spend three weeks on the Billboard 200.
Stray Kids’ latest album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” rose to No. 4 in its 14th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, and it also became the group’s first album ever to spend 14 weeks on the Billboard 200.
BTS’s J-Hope’s 2022 solo album “Jack In The Box” ranked No. 6 in its ninth non-consecutive week on the World Albums chart, while TWICE’s Jihyo’s solo debut mini album “ZONE” stayed strong at No. 7 in its third consecutive week on the chart.
ENHYPEN’s “DARK BLOOD” held relatively steady at No. 9 in its 15th consecutive week on the chart, followed by LE SSERAFIM’s “UNFORGIVEN” (now in its 19th week).
BTS’s Jimin’s solo debut album “FACE” remained No. 11 in its 24th week on the chart, and BTS’s 2022 anthology album “Proof” climbed back up to No. 12 in its 65th week.
aespa’s latest mini album “MY WORLD” re-entered the World Albums chart at No. 13, marking its eighth non-consecutive week on the chart, while NewJeans’ debut EP “New Jeans” came in at No. 14 (in its 37th week).
