Nam Sang Mi Confirmed To Return To Acting In New Film

Actress Nam Sang Mi is set to make a comeback in a new film!

On July 1, Nam Sang Mi’s agency JR Entertainment announced that the actress has been confirmed to star in the film “Dear Name” (working title).

“Dear Name” is a gentle and beautifully crafted journey where protagonists reflect on their own stories. Nam Sang Mi portrays Jung Hae Soo, a cheerful and brave innkeeper running the Blue Bird Garden guesthouse in Gangwon Province.

Nam Sang Mi is making a comeback to acting after a long break since SBS’s “Let Me Introduce Her” in 2018. She chose to join the cast of a heartwarming screenplay that deeply resonated with her. She explained, “I was captivated by the touching script. Despite inner struggles, I admired the courageous and upbeat character of Hae Soo in ‘Dear Name’ who faces challenges with resilience, and I felt a connection to her.”

She added, “I hope that the warmth we experienced with the production team during filming comes through to the viewers.”
