“Trolley” is a new mystery romance drama about a politician’s wife who faces the biggest dilemma of her life after a secret she’s been hiding is unexpectedly revealed. Presented with difficult choices and no right answer, the characters in “Trolley” will be swept up in a whirlwind of confusion and conflict.

Kim Hyun Joo will star in the drama as Kim Hye Joo, the wife of National Assembly member Nam Joong Do (Park Hee Soon). Kim Hye Joo runs a book restoration shop, and because she wants to live a quiet, ordinary life, she chooses to stay out of the public eye despite being a politician’s wife. However, she winds up facing the biggest crisis of her life when, due to an unexpected incident, a secret she’s been hiding for a long time rises to the surface.

Jung Soo Bin will play the role of the mysterious Kim Soo Bin, who grew up in a group home after her parents divorced when she was still young. An uninvited guest who cares more about her own safety and survival than anything else, Kim Soo Bin turns Kim Hye Joo and Nam Joong Do’s world upside down when she suddenly walks into their lives.

Ryu Hyun Kyung will play Jin Seung Hee, Kim Hye Joo’s former classmate and the wife of Choi Ki Young (Ki Tae Young). After completing a three-year language program in Canada, Jin Seung Hee returns to Korea, where she hears news of Kim Hye Joo for the first time in many years. Jin Seung Hee winds up confronting her former classmate, marking the prelude to Kim Hye Joo’s misfortune.

Ki Tae Young will play Choi Ki Young, who went to the same school as both Kim Hye Joo and Jin Seung Hee. After entering college and immigrating to Australia, he happened to meet Jin Seung Hee during a brief trip back to Korea, and they eventually got married. He has now returned to his hometown, where he runs a golf school.

Finally, Seo Jeong Yeon will play the role of Hyun Yeo Jin, a woman who is like family to Kim Hye Joo and Nam Joong Do. Not only did she grow up next door to Nam Joong Do and ultimately take over the small noodle shop that his mother used to run, but she is now like an older sister to his wife Kim Hye Joo, who relies on her so much for helping out with child care that she eventually asked Hyun Yeo Jin to move in with them.
