The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from February 5 to March 5.
SBS’s “Shooting Stars” (also known as “Kick a Goal”) topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 4,522,630, marking a 35.89 percent increase in its score since February. High-ranking phrases in the women’s soccer variety show’s keyword analysis included “soccer,” “Song So Hee,” and “Lee Chun Soo,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “challenge,” “effort,” and “participate.” Meanwhile, the program’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 76.87 percent positive reactions.
MBN’s “National Athletes Are National Athletes” (literal translation) entered the rankings at a close second with a brand reputation index of 4,260,566.
MBC’s “How Do You Play?” came in third with a brand reputation index of 4,107,727 for March.
Finally, MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) claimed fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,959,182, and MBC’s “Radio Star” rounded out the top five with a total index of 3,906,318.
