Lee Jong Suk may be reuniting with the director of “W” after eight years!
On September 13, MyDaily reported that Lee Jong Suk will star in “Seochodong” (literal title), a new drama directed by Park Seung Woo.
In response to the report, Lee Jong Suk’s agency Ace Factory shared, “Lee Jong Suk has received an offer to star in the new drama ‘Seochodong’ and is currently reviewing it.”
Lee Jong Suk has reportedly been offered the role of Ahn Joo Hyung, a veteran lawyer with nine years of experience. While Ahn Joo Hyung has striking looks and an impressive background, he has a blunt personality.
“Seochodong” will be helmed by Park Seung Woo, who previously collaborated with Lee Jong Suk in the hit 2016 MBC drama “W.” Notably, Lee Jong Suk’s portrayal of Kang Cheol in the drama earned him multiple awards, including Best Couple Award, Best Actor in a Miniseries, and his first Daesang (Grand Prize) at the MBC Drama Awards.
Filming for “Seochodong” is set to begin at the end of this year, with the drama slated for release in 2025. Stay tuned for more updates!
