Upcoming tvN drama “Our Blues” released a new poster!
“Our Blues” is a new omnibus-style drama set in Jeju Island that tells the sweet, sour, and bitter life stories of a diverse array of characters. The star-studded cast lineup includes Lee Byung Hun, Shin Min Ah, Han Ji Min, Kim Woo Bin, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun, Kim Hye Ja, Go Doo Shim, Uhm Jung Hwa, and more.
The new group poster previews a heartwarming story with a collage made up of pictures of each of the characters waving brightly with the village and the sea in the backgrounds. Even the subtle differences in the way the characters wave portray how the actors have already immersed themselves in their roles. The yellow flowers scattered on top of the photos also highlight the warm vibe of Jeju Island. The text on top of the poster reads, “To all of us who are alive, let’s be happy!”
Lee Byung Hun and Shin Min Ah play Lee Dong Suk and Min Sun Ah, respectively, and the two will reunite on Jeju Island for their upcoming romance story. Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun, and Uhm Jung Hwa play characters who grew up on Jeju Island. Cha Seung Won stars as Choi Han Soo who returns to his hometown of Jeju as a manager of a bank branch. Lee Jung Eun is the tough fish shop owner Jung Eun Hee, and Uhm Jung Hwa is Go Mi Ran, who is still considered a “queen” among her friends.
Kim Hye Ja plays Lee Byung Hun’s mother Kang Ok Dong, while Go Doo Shim plays haenyeo (female diver that harvests sea life for a living) Hyun Choon Hee who is looking after her granddaughter Son Eun Ki (Ki So You). Park Ji Hwan and Choi Young Joon are Jung In Kwon and Bang Ho Shik, who are fathers working at the village market, while Bae Hyun Sung and Noh Yoon Seo play their children Jung Hyun and Bang Young Joo, who are a high school couple.
Han Ji Min plays haenyeo Lee Young Ok who has a lot of rumors floating around about her. Kim Woo Bin plays the bright and pure ship captain Park Jung Joon. Their upcoming romance also raises questions because of the empty photo between the couple in the poster, making viewers wonder how this mysterious figure will affect their romance.
