Kim Ji Won Joins Jeon Do Yeon In Talks For New Drama Following Song Hye Kyo And Han So Hee’s Departure

 

Kim Ji Won may star alongside Jeon Do Yeon in “The Price of Confession” (literal title)!

On January 9, one media outlet reported that Kim Ji Won has received an offer to star in “The Price of Confession” and is currently finalizing her schedule to accommodate the project.

In response to the report, Kim Ji Won’s agency HighZium Studio shared, “’The Price of Confession’ is one of the projects she has received an offer for.”

Back in December, it was revealed that Jeon Do Yeon was in talks to assume the lead role in the mystery thriller drama after Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee departed from the series.

“The Price of Confession” depicts the bloody chronicle of two women surrounding a murder case. Initially, the drama was slated to be helmed by director Lee Eung Bok of “Descendants of the Sun.” However, the project faced a change in direction when he declined the offer due to scheduling conflicts in January 2023. Currently, director Lee Jung Hyo of “Crash Landing on You” and “Doona!” has taken over as the new director.

In 2022, Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee were first revealed to be in talks for the drama. Their collaboration generated anticipation when they shared an image with the text “The Price of Confession” on their Instagram Stories in March 2023. However, both actresses confirmed their departure from the project in May after extensive discussions.
