Kim Jae Wook In Talks For Drama By “Our Beloved Summer” Writer Reportedly Starring Park Bo Young, Choi Woo Shik, And More

Kim Jae Wook may be starring in a new drama!

On January 19, SPOTV News reported that Kim Jae Wook will be starring in the new drama “Romance Movie” (literal title).

In response to the reports, a source from Kim Jae Wook’s agency Management SOOP shared, “He received an offer [to star in the drama], and he is positively in talks.”

“Romantic Movie” delves into the lives of young individuals who are used to always pretending to be fine in the face of hardships. Now, they aspire to experience love and fulfill their dreams yet find themselves drained and exhausted from the relentless hardships they endure. Despite its initial impression of having a somber undertone, the drama is a comical romance written by Lee Na Eun, the scriptwriter of “Our Beloved Summer.”

Previously, it was reported that Park Bo Young, Choi Woo Shik, Lee Jun Young, and Jeon So Nee are in talks for the drama. According to the reports, Choi Woo Shik will play Go Kyum, who plays as an extra but becomes a film critic, while Park Bo Young will play Kim Moo Bi, an assistant director who becomes a film director. Lee Jun Young is in talks to play Hong Si Joon, who dreams of being a genius composer, and Jeon So Nee will reportedly play the successful screenwriter Son Joo Ah.

Kim Jae Wook impressed in numerous roles including “Degree of Love,” “The Guest,” “Her Private Life,” “Crazy Love,” and more, and he recently captivated viewers through “Death’s Game,” raising anticipation for his next project.
