Both Kim Ha Neul and Kam Woo Sung have been offered lead roles in a new JTBC drama titled “The Wind Blows” (literal translation).
“The Wind Blows” is a story about a man who decided to divorce his beloved wife after suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and a woman who decided to divorce her husband to have children. The plot unfolds six years later when they reunite.
On February 16, Kim Ha Neul’s label Sidus HQ said she has been offered a role in the drama, which is one of the productions she is currently reviewing at the moment. Her character is Soo Jin, the wife who reunites with her ex-husband who has Alzheimer’s disease. If she decides to appear in the drama, it will be her first drama in three years since her last drama “On the Way to the Airport.”
Kam Woo Sung’s agency 8D Creative also shared, “Kam Woo Sung has been asked to star in JTBC’s new drama ‘The Wind Blows’ and is considering it. Nothing has been confirmed yet.” The actor’s last drama was “Should We Kiss First?” with Kim Sun Ah.
“The Wind Blows” is a work by Jeong Jeong Hwa, the producer of “Bel Ami” and “Flower Boy Next Door,” and Hwang Joo Ha, the writer of “Mrs. Cop.” It will air for the first time in May.
