Kim Go Eun Joins Jeon Do Yeon In Talks For Upcoming Thriller Drama

 

Kim Go Eun may be starring with Jeon Do Yeon in a new drama together!

On January 17, STARNEWS reported that Kim Go Eun is in talks to star in the upcoming drama “The Price of Confession” (literal title).

In response to the reports, a source from Kim Go Eun’s agency BH Entertainment remarked, “She is positively reviewing [the offer to star in] ‘The Price of Confession.'”

“The Price of Confession” depicts the bloody chronicle of two women surrounding a murder case. Initially, the drama was slated to be helmed by director Lee Eung Bok of “Descendants of the Sun.” However, the project faced a change in direction when he declined the offer due to scheduling conflicts in January 2023. Currently, director Lee Jung Hyo of “Crash Landing on You” and “Doona!” has taken over as the new director.

Back in December, it was also revealed that Jeon Do Yeon is in talks to assume the lead role in the mystery thriller drama after Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee departed from the series. Although Kim Ji Won joined Jeon Do Yeon in talks for the drama earlier this month, STARNEWS reported that the actress ultimately turned down the offer to star in the drama.

If both Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Go Eun accept their offers, this will be their second time acting together since their 2015 film “Memories of the Sword.” Currently, Kim Go Eun is also gearing up for the release of her upcoming film “Exhuma,” which will hit theaters in February.
