Both tvN’s “Jirisan” and JTBC’s “Inspector Koo” saw a boost in their ratings for their respective finales!
On December 12, “Jirisan” ended on a significant rise in viewership for its final episode, which scored an average nationwide rating of 9.2 percent. Notably, the mystery drama’s series finale marked the first time that it managed to break past 9 percent since the second week of its run back in October.
JTBC’s “Inspector Koo” also rose to an average nationwide rating of 2.3 percent for its own finale. The drama also ended on its highest ratings yet among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored a nationwide average of 2.0 percent.
OCN’s “Chimera” similarly climbed to an average nationwide rating of 2.0 percent for its latest episode, while SBS’s “Let Me Be Your Knight” rose to an average nationwide rating of 1.7 percent.
Meanwhile, TV Chosun’s new remake of BBC’s hit series “Uncle” enjoyed a rise in viewership for its second episode, which earned an average nationwide rating of 2.8 percent.
After premiering to a strong start the night before, KBS’s new historical drama “The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won” also jumped to an average nationwide rating of 9.4 percent for its own second episode.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Young Lady and Gentleman” soared to its highest viewership ratings yet last night. The latest episode of the popular weekend drama scored an average nationwide rating of 33.6 percent, marking a new personal record for the show.
