Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun’s romantic trip won’t go quite as planned on the next episode of “Welcome to Samdalri”!
Helmed by “When the Camellia Blooms” director Cha Young Hoon, “Welcome to Samdalri” is a JTBC romance drama starring Ji Chang Wook as Jo Yong Pil, a man who has faithfully stayed in his hometown on Jeju Island all his life in order to protect its residents. Shin Hye Sun stars as Jo Sam Dal, who grew up together with Jo Yong Pil as his close childhood friend.
Previously on “Welcome to Samdalri,” Sam Dal came to realize everything that Yong Pil had done for her—and she made up her mind to love him properly, putting an end to the one-sided love that had tormented them for so long.
However, just when the two are getting ready to go on a romantic camping date, they are unexpectedly interrupted by Sam Dal’s loyal assistants Go Eun Bi (Kim Ah Young) and Yang Ji Eun (Lee Do Hye), who have come all the way to Jeju to find her.
As a result, what was meant to be a romantic trip for two winds up becoming a date for four—and the thwarted couple is unable to hide their disappointment at being joined by the two well-meaning intruders. Throughout their camping trip, the lovers desperately to get away from the assistants and find some time to be alone together.
The “Welcome to Samdalri” production team teased, “Yong Pil and Sam Dal, who have firmly made up their minds to love one another again, will take off for a camping trip. The fact that they are joined by Sam Dal’s two assistants, who have suddenly come down [to Jeju], will add to the fun.”
“Will Yong Pil and Sam Dal’s plan to get away from Eun Bi and Ji Eun succeed?” they continued. “We hope you will laugh and enjoy watching the episode.”
The next episode of “Welcome to Samdalri” will air on January 14 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
