The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from December 7, 2023 to January 7, 2024.
“Miss Trot 3” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 8,855,446. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “viewership ratings,” “Bae Ah Hyun,” and “death match,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “achieve,” “ascend,” and “surpass.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.84 percent positive reactions.
“Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) shot to second place with a brand reputation index of 7,408,734, marking an impressive 136.20 percent increase in its score since December.
Meanwhile, “King of Active Singers” took third place with a brand reputation index of 6,186,838 for January.
“Sing Again 3” rose to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 5,908,536, marking a 79.42 percent increase in their score since last month.
Finally, “Win or Nothing” (“A Clean Sweep”) rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 4,682,715, marking a 67.02 percent rise in their score since December.
