The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual idols!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 1,720 idols, using big data collected from December 25, 2023 to January 25, 2024.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie held onto her spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 3,630,892. High-ranking phrases in Jennie’s keyword analysis included “ODD ATELIER,” “advertisement model,” and “Apartment 404,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “appear,” “break out on her own,” and “outstanding.” Her positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 91.20 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 2,844,700 for January.
Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon maintained her position at third place this month with a brand reputation index of 2,788,011.
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo climbed to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,521,092, marking a modest 1.45 percent rise in her score since last month.
Finally, Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon jumped to fifth place after seeing a whopping 662.82 percent increase in his score since December. His total score for January came out to 2,082,919.
