Im Soo Hyang’s Agency Responds To Reports Of The Actress Starring In New MBN Drama

On April 8, news outlet Sports Seoul reported that Im Soo Hyang has been cast as the female lead of MBN’s upcoming drama “Graceful Family” (literal title).
In response, a source from Im Soo Hyang’s agency FN Entertainment clarified, “It is true that Im Soo Hyang received an offer for ‘Graceful Family,’ but nothing has been confirmed.”
However, another source from the agency gave similar a response with an additional comment that the actress decided not to appear in the drama after discussing the offer and that she is currently reviewing offers for different projects with a focus on dramas.
“Graceful Family” will tell the story of people in the TOP Team that manages “owner risk,” which is an occurrence that results from misjudgment or illegal activities of a company’s owner family that negatively affects the company.
Im Soo Hyang received an offer for the role of Mo Seok Hee, the only daughter of a chaebol family whose mother is murdered. She seems like a beautiful and smart daughter of a rich family who is out of control, but she has been secretly trying to go after her mother’s killer. She officially begins her own investigation as she returns to Korea for the first time in 15 years.
Im Soo Hyang made her debut through the 2009 film “Fourth Period Mystery” and especially received the public’s recognition last year with JTBC’s hit drama “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty.”
“Graceful Family,” for which producing director Han Chul Soo and writer Kwon Min Soo have joined forces, is set to premiere in the latter half of this year.
