KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” has shared a new sneak peek of its two leads!

“Beauty and Mr. Romantic” will tell the love story of an actress who hits rock bottom overnight and the producing director (PD) who gets her back on her feet out of love.

Im Soo Hyang will star as A-list actress Park Do Ra, who started out as a child actress being dragged from set to set by a ruthless stage mom. Over the past 15 years, she has built up an impressive career and filmography while being worked to the bone as a money-making machine for her mother. However, her life undergoes an unexpected change when she happens to run into assistant director Go Pil Seung (Ji Hyun Woo) on the set of a drama.

In newly released stills from “Beauty and Mr. Romantic,” Park Do Ra exhibits laser focus while reading the script for her drama-within-the-drama. Another photo captures the actress with a cold, hardened expression, revealing just how exhausted she is from years of working tirelessly without a break.

Meanwhile, Ji Hyun Woo will star as Go Pil Seung, a passionate rookie PD who is determined to succeed. Sturdy and resourceful, Go Pil Seung is willing to be shameless when necessary, and he doesn’t shy away from buttering people up to get what he wants. However, he is unprepared for the chaos that he faces after he is unexpectedly reunited with Park Do Ra, who used to have a crush on him back when they were kids.
