KBS2’s upcoming drama “Love Song for Illusion” has shared stills of Hong Ye Ji and Ji Woo!

Based on a popular webtoon, “Love Song for Illusion” is a historical fantasy romance that follows both the heart-fluttering love story and the fierce obsession of a man with two conflicting personalities and the woman who loves him.

Hong Ye Ji will star as Yeon Wol, who lives a life full of twists and turns, going from an assassin to a concubine. Yeon Wol is the royal descendant of the fallen Yeon Dynasty and the only daughter of Yeon Poong Hak. She hides her identity and becomes assassin Gye Ra to avenge her family but inadvertently ends up becoming the crown prince’s concubine.

Ji Woo will play the role of Geum Hwa, the ambitious and greedy wife of Crown Prince Sajo Hyun (Park Ji Hoon). Geum Hwa is a complicated character with both good and evil within her, but when it comes to fulfilling her desires, she will resort to any means necessary to get what she wants.

The released stills depicts Yeon Wol and Geum Hwa, who are entangled in a fierce rivalry. Viewers’ attention is focused on the intense conflict and war of nerves that will unfold as the two women, each harboring a hidden agenda, get entangled with Crown Prince Sajo Hyun.

Yeon Wol, who loses her memory one day and becomes the prince’s concubine, develops feelings for him, while Geum Hwa becomes villainous when her position as queen is threatened.
