Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Thanks Fans For Making “Lips On Lips” Go Platinum In A Week

Girls’ Generation member Tiffany’s “Lips on Lips” EP has gone platinum, and the singer thanked fans for helping make it happen on her Instagram on March 27.
She said, “While making this album, what gave me strength every time I was in desperate need of patience was my goal of getting back to you. Even though I’m far away, I never doubted for a second that you would realize how I felt as long as the music was honest.”
Talking about her platinum certification, Tiffany said, “It may be just a piece of paper, but this platinum [certification] means so much to me. It’s like a pat on the back and a hug, letting me know that I wasn’t wrong every time I wanted to quit but thought of you and stood up again.”
She added, “I’m so thankful just for the fact that you were the reason for me to come back and the reason for me to stand and do music again. But thank you so much for giving me such a big gift. I’ll continue to believe in you and give back with great music.”
The singer held a mini showcase for “Lips on Lips” in Seoul on March 26, and said, “Last night singing LIPS ON LIPS for you in SEOUL felt like a dream & it still does bc i found out that YOU made the cd go PLATINUM in a WEEK !!!!!!!!! I love you I love you I love you.”
