“Exhuma” shows no signs of slowing down at the box office!
Ever since its release on February 22, the star-studded film has enjoyed an uninterrupted eight-day streak at No. 1 at the Korean box office.
On March 1, the Korean Film Council announced that just two days after hitting the 3 million mark, “Exhuma” had already surpassed a total of 4 million moviegoers—making it the first film released in 2024 to achieve the feat.
Notably, “Exhuma” reached the milestone faster than the recent smash hit “12.12: The Day,” which took about 12 days to surpass 4 million moviegoers (before ultimately becoming the sixth-biggest hit in South Korean box office history).
“Exhuma” is an occult mystery film about two exorcists (played by Kim Go Eun and Lee Do Hyun), a mortician (Yoo Hae Jin), and a feng shui master (Choi Min Sik) who relocate mysterious graves in exchange for a hefty sum of money.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of “Exhuma”!
