"Dongjae, The Good Or The Bastard" Premieres To Strong Start + "Dear Hyeri" Holds Steady

The fierce competition for viewership continues!

According to Nielsen Korea, the October 14 broadcast of tvN’s new drama “Dongjae, The Good or the Bastard” achieved an average nationwide viewership rating of 3.8 percent for its premiere episode.

A spin-off of “Forest of Secrets,” “Dongjae, The Good or the Bastard” stars Lee Jun Hyuk, who reprises his role as the corrupt prosecutor Seo Dong Jae. The series focuses on Dong Jae’s challenges as a prosecutor at the Cheongju District Prosecutors’ Office, struggling with a tarnished reputation due to his past corruption.

ENA’s “Dear Hyeri” garnered an average nationwide viewership rating of 3.1 percent, seeing a small dip in ratings from the previous episode’s score of 3.5 percent, which was also the drama’s personal best record.
