Shin-yu manages to hide his curse symptoms from Hong-jo to not worry her. The couple then go shopping as they decide to spend the night together. At Shin-yu’s house, he wonders about the curse and gets lost in thought. Finally, Hong-jo and him sleep together and wake up to see the sunrise. When they walk back to his house, they meet Jae-kyung. Jae-kyung looks at them holding hands and feels disheartened.
The three of them go to Shin-yu’s home to have breakfast. Over there Jae-kyung watches the new couple’s lovey-dovey habits and lets out a sigh. The next day at the office, Nayeon visits Shin-yu and asks him why he doesn’t call her. Shin-yu asks her to get mad at him and not meddle with Hong-jo. Then he meets up with Seo-gu to discuss the fraudulent habits of the garden owner, Jang-beom.

During their conversation, Shin-yu learns about Jang-beom’s missing wife, who to date, hasn’t been found. Meanwhile, Hong-jo joins her colleagues Soo-jeong and Sae-byeol who ask her about the relationship she has with Shin-yu. Before she can tell that she is dating him, Shin-yu and his assistant join the ladies.
They all play truth and dare and learn that Shin-yu has broken up with his girlfriend Nayeon. Hence, the two colleagues of Hong-jo take them all to the karaoke and try to hit on Shin-yu. Hong-jo tries to convey to them about her dating life but the two focus on only flirting with Shin-yu. Shin-yu performs a melodious song for Hong-jo before leaving home. In front of Hong-jo’s home, the couple share a beautiful moment before departing.
As Hong-jo enters her house, she finds Jae-kyung drunk and he confronts her about her new relationship with Shin-yu. He asks her to call him by his name as well. That afternoon, Shin-yu visits the doctor to check on his tactile hallucinations. He also remembers the Shaman’s words saying that the red hands that caress his cheek are of the one he killed. At his home, he reads the note written by his ancestor (which is him in his past life) regarding the curse that will pass down. That evening he meets with Hong-jo and spends time with her.
The following day, pictures of Hong-jo with Shin-yu and Jae-kyung go viral among the city hall members and they start bickering her for two-timing. Hong-jo confronts Nayeon about it. Both colleagues question Hong-jo for hiding the news from them as they feel embarrassed for making their move on Shin-yu.
Later that day Shin-yu meets with Jang-beom and hints about his missing wife, getting his attention. Then when the government officials move a tree from a park, they come across a skeleton. Shin-yu comes to the spot and asks Seo-gu about the time period when Jang-beom’s wife went missing. This startles Seo-gu as he understands that the corpse could be of Jang-beom’s wife.

Meanwhile, Hong-jo goes to an isolated hill to check on a pit that has been newly dug. Shin-yu calls her to warn her about Jang-beom but before she can pick it up, Jang-beom peeks from behind and pushes Hong-jo into the pit. She loses consciousness and the episode ends.
The first half of the episode was extremely funny, thanks to Jae-kyung and his jealousy. As a second lead, him getting pissed at the new couple looked natural and cute. Yes, he deserves a happy ending because as a second lead, he doesn’t have to always end up watching the one he loves with the one they love. Moreover, he is just too cute to end up alone.
The second half opened up a hint regarding Shin-yu’s curse. Apparently, someone has died and their death has put a curse. Could it be Hong-jo or someone else who died in the past life. Additionally, Jang-beom is the main villain and the reasons behind him doing all the crime acts are yet unknown. In the next few episodes, his backstory and more truth regarding the curse will be shared.
