The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from November 3 to December 3.
SBS’s “My Little Old Boy” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 5,265,938. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Woo Sang Hyeok,” “Lee Sang Min,” and “Tak Jae Hoon,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “reveal,” “join,” and “appear.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 90.24 percent positive reactions.
KBS 2TV’s “Golden Girls” shot to second place with a brand reputation index of 3,718,739, marking a whopping 97.85 percent increase in its score since November.
SBS’s “Running Man” took third place with a brand reputation index of 3,575,468, while tvN’s “Unexpected Business 3” came in at a close fourth with an index of 3,428,349.
Finally, JTBC’s “Sing Again 3” rounded out the top five for December with a brand reputation index of 3,293,164.
