The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for all idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from November 14 to December 14.
BLACKPINK rose to the top of this month’s list after seeing a whopping 118.35 percent increase in their brand reputation index since November, bringing their total score to 5,711,207. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “exclusive contract,” “Yang Hyun Suk,” and “YG Entertainment,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “renew contracts,” “collaborate,” and “soar.” BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.09 percent positive reactions.
NewJeans climbed to second place with a brand reputation index of 4,938,338, marking a 21.40 percent rise in their score since last month.
BTS took third place for the month with a brand reputation index of 4,702,347, while SEVENTEEN came in fourth with an index of 3,769,086.
Finally, IVE rounded out the top five for December with a brand reputation index of 3,345,070.
