KBS2’s “Love Song for Illusion” has shared new stills from its upcoming episode!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Love Song for Illusion” is a historical fantasy romance that follows both the heart-fluttering love story and the fierce obsession of Crown Prince Sajo Hyun (Park Ji Hoon), who has an alter ego known as Ak Hee, and Yeon Wol (Hong Ye Ji), a fallen royal descendant who becomes an assassin to avenge her family but inadvertently ends up becoming the crown prince’s concubine.

Previously in “Love Song for Illusion,” the king’s legitimate son Sajo Hyun summoned his second personality Ak Hee to save Yeon Wol, who was falsely accused of assassinating the king. With Sajo Hyun now trapped in Ak Hee’s mind instead of the other way around, attention is focused on what events will unfold within the palace.

The released stills depict Sajo Hyun dressed in commoners’ clothes instead of the neat and flashy clothes of a prince, raising questions about what could have caused him to hide his identity.

On his way back to the palace, Sajo Hyun encounters military officers brutally oppressing the people. Amidst the chaos, Sajo Hyun is seen trying to protect a young child by shielding the child with his arms.

Viewers can’t wait to find out if Sajo Hyun will be able to survive the crisis and return home safely. They also can’t wait to find out whose orders the soldiers are acting under.
