"Connection" Rated Most Buzzworthy Drama In Final Week On Air + Um Tae Goo Tops Actor List

SBS’s “Connection” has gone out on top!

In its final week on air, “Connection” remained No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz for the fourth consecutive week. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.

In addition to topping the list of most buzzworthy dramas, “Connection” also claimed two spots on this week’s list of most buzzworthy drama cast members, where Ji Sung rose to No. 5 and Kwon Yool shot to No. 8.

“My Sweet Mobster” stars Um Tae Goo and Han Sun Hwa took No. 1 and No. 3 respectively on this week’s actor list, while the hit romance climbed to No. 2 on the drama list.

JTBC’s “Miss Night and Day” stayed strong at No. 3 on the drama list, with stars Lee Jung Eun, Apink’s Jeong Eun Ji, and Choi Jin Hyuk ranking No. 2, No. 4, and No. 7 respesctively on the actor list.

In its first week on air, tvN’s “The Auditors” debuted at No. 4 on the drama list, while leads Shin Ha Kyun and Lee Jung Ha entered the actor rankings at No. 6 and No. 9 respectively.

MBC’s new two-part series “The Pork Cutlets” debuted at No. 7 on this week’s drama list, and tvN’s upcoming drama “Serendipity’s Embrace” entered the list at No. 9.

While the drama list only includes series airing on broadcast television, the newly integrated actor list also includes cast members from OTT shows—and “The Whirlwind” star Sol Kyung Gu made this week’s list at No. 10.
