BTS is dominating music charts all over the world with their new 10th anniversary single!
On June 10 local time, BTS’s brand-new song “Take Two” debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Top Songs chart after racking up an impressive 7,279,978 filtered streams on the platform in just one day.
“Take Two” is BTS’s second group song to top the chart after their 2020 smash hit “Dynamite,” making them the first male K-pop artist in history with two No. 1 songs. The only other male K-pop act to top the chart to date is BTS’s own Jimin, who made history earlier this year as the first Korean soloist ever to reach No. 1 with his solo debut track “Like Crazy.”
“Take Two” also debuted at No. 1 on Oricon’s daily digital singles chart after recording 21,792 downloads in Japan on its first day alone.
Meanwhile, “Take Two” previously swept the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Songs charts in 92 countries across the globe within the first 20 hours of its release on June 9.
Congratulations to BTS!
