BTS Military Enlistment Issue, Uncertainty Is Problematic Says Authorities

Hive CCO Lee Jin-Hyeong recommended the Military Service Act be amended as soon as possible. Uncertainty generates problems. I’m hoping to achieve a conclusion as soon as feasible.

Hive’s ‘THE CITY’ project meeting was conducted in the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas, USA, on the 9th at 10 a.m. (local time). Hive’s Taeho Kim (COO), Seungsuk Lee (CEO of Hive IPX Headquarters), Jinhyeong Lee (CCO), Scott Manson (Hive America), and Chris Baldizan (Vice President of MGM Entertainment) were all in attendance.

CCO Lee Jin-Hyung brought up the question of BTS’ military duty during this meeting, which has recently resurfaced as a heated topic. A bill to change the Military Service Act is currently pending in the National Assembly, stating that the military service of pop culture artists who have achieved significant success should be converted to an alternative service by moving them to ‘art agents.’

“I understand the significance of military service in Korea,” said Lee Jin-hyeong, CCO. “Artists have already stated that they will react to the country’s appeal, but the call has remained unchanged. I was keeping an eye on things. While watching the National Assembly debate on military service concerns, the artists left the decision-making process to the company.”

He went on to say, “The military service system has altered in recent years, making it difficult to foresee the timing, which is why artists have difficulty formulating long-term plans. It becomes a new discussion without commitments as it gets rearranged. “The BTS military issue, uncertainty is problematic,” says Hive CCO.

The CCO also hoped that the modification would be handled soon. “If I could expand what the firm believes in connection to the military duty issue,” he said, “I’d like to see how far BTS would grow and I’d like to remain with them.” ‘While sustaining the current dynamic’ is a crucial phrase.

“The corporation now considers me an artist who has planted foot all around the world,” Lee CCO stated. Despite the fact that the Grammys’ significance continues to increase in the United States, I have the impression that there is still a long way to go in the music business. In the global music market, there is also a lot of room for growth. In South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, as well as in Asia, there is a sizable market. The firm wants to test how far artists can push themselves.”

BTS members will be able to postpone their enlistment until they reach the age of 30 under the enlistment postponement system, which has been in operation since June of this year. Jin, the eldest, was born in 1992 and is expected to enlist before the end of the year.
