BTS is sweeping charts across the globe with their latest release!
On April 12 at 6 p.m. KST, BTS dropped their new mini album “Map of the Soul: Persona,” as well as the music video for its accompanying title track “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey. Within hours of its release, the mini album soared to the top of iTunes charts in numerous countries all over the world.
As of 1:39 p.m. KST on April 13, “Map of the Soul: Persona” had already topped iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 86 different regions, including the United States, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, the Philippines, Vietnam, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
In addition to sweeping all of Korea’s major realtime music charts, BTS’s new title track “Boy With Luv” also hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 67 different regions, including the United States, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Finland, France, Greece, Indonesia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Slovenia, Russia, Turkey, Thailand, and Vietnam.
