Bomin, TAG, And Jibeom Leave Golden Child And Woollim; Group To Continue As 7 Members

Bomin, TAG, and Jibeom will be departing from Golden Child and Woollim Entertainment.

On August 27, Golden Child’s agency Woollim Entertainment released the following statement:

"Hello, this is Woollim Entertainment.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Goldenness for their unwavering love and support for Golden Child.

We have recently renewed contracts with five members of Golden Child: Lee Jangjun, Bae Seungmin, Bong Jaehyun, Kim Donghyun, and Hong Joochan.

Based on the strong trust we’ve built over the years, Woollim Entertainment will fully invest in and support the future activities of Golden Child members Lee Jangjun, Bae Seungmin, Bong Jaehyun, Kim Donghyun, Hong Joochan, Lee Daeyeol, and Y.

After careful discussions, we have mutually agreed that our management contracts with TAG, Kim Jibeom, and Choi Bomin will conclude as of today. We sincerely thank TAG, Kim Jibeom, and Choi Bomin for their time with us and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

Golden Child (Lee Daeyeol, Y, Lee Jangjun, Bae Seungmin, Bong Jaehyun, Kim Donghyun, Hong Joochan) will continue their activities as a 7-member group and will engage with fans through both group and individual projects.

We kindly ask for your continued support and encouragement for the seven members of Golden Child.

Golden Child debuted in August 2017. Daeyeol enlisted in March 2022 and was discharged in September last year, while Y enlisted in March 2023 and is set to be discharged this coming September.
