BLACKPINK is now the most-streamed female group on Spotify!
On March 8 (local time), Guinness World Records officially announced that BLACKPINK had dethroned British girl group Little Mix to become Spotify’s most-streamed female band.
Across all credits, BLACKPINK’s songs have accumulated 8,880,030,049 individual streams. Their top songs include “How You Like That” with 746,198,263 streams, “Kill This Love” with 672,084,360, and “DDU-DU DDU-DU” with 574,613,362.
As a group, BLACKPINK currently holds several other Guinness World Records, including most subscribers for a band on YouTube, first K-pop group to reach No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart (Female), and first K-pop group to reach No. 1 on the U.S. Albums Chart (Female).
Throughout their careers, the members have also recorded numerous individual feats. In 2021, Rosé became the first artist to reach No. 1 on a Billboard Global chart as both as a soloist and group member with her debut single “On The Ground,” while Lisa achieved three new Guinness World Records titles early this year.
BLACKPINK is currently on the Asia leg of their “BORN PINK” world tour, with performances in Jakarta, Kaohsiung, and Manila coming later this month.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
