MBC’s “Black Out” entered the second half of its run on an all-time high in viewership!
On September 7, the mystery thriller rose to its highest ratings yet as it kicked off its second half. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of “Black Out” scored an average nationwide rating of 6.4 percent, marking a new personal record for the drama.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “Good Partner”—which airs in the same time slot as “Black Out”—continued its reign at No. 1. The drama rose to an average nationwide rating of 16.3 percent for the night, taking first place in its time slot across all channels.
“Good Partner” was also the most-watched show of the entire week among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average rating of 5.5 percent.
Despite seeing a decrease in viewership from last week, tvN’s “Love Next Door” still took first place in its time slot across all cable channels with an average nationwide rating of 4.0 percent.
JTBC’s “Romance in the House” kicked off the final two weeks of its run on an average nationwide rating of 2.7 percent, while MBN’s “Bad Memory Eraser” earned a nationwide average of 0.3 percent.
TV Chosun’s “DNA Lover” rose slightly to an average nationwide rating of 0.7 percent for its latest episode, while Channel A’s “Cinderella at 2AM” scored a nationwide average of 0.4 percent for the night.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” remained the most-watched program of any kind to air on Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 16.6 percent.
