The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from July 13 to August 13.
NewJeans topped the list for the second consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 8,246,017, marking a 44.56 percent rise in their score since July. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Jamboree,” “Hype Boy,” and “Super Shy,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “participate,” “perform,” and “surpass.” NewJeans’ positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 85.07 percent positive reactions.
BLACKPINK rose to second place for the month with a brand reputation index of 4,206,378, marking a 1.35 percent increase in their score since July.
LE SSERAFIM climbed to third place with a brand reputation index of 3,390,502, marking a 21.30 percent rise in their score since last month.
IVE came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 3,220,636, marking a 9.60 percent increase in their score since July.
Finally, (G)I-DLE rounded out the top five for August with a brand reputation index of 2,348,007.
