The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from March 2 to April 2.
tvN’s “Jinny’s Kitchen” rose to the top of this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 6,563,911 for April. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Lee Seo Jin,” “BTS’s V,” and “Choi Woo Shik,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “get immersed in,” “do business,” and “hit the jackpot.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 88.41 percent positive reactions.
MBC’s “How Do You Play?” took second place with a brand reputation index of 6,100,127, marking a 45.26 percent increase in its score since March.
Meanwhile, MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) rose to third place with a brand reputation index of 4,691,443.
SBS’s “Running Man” came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 4,492,990, marking a modest 2.39 percent rise in its score since last month.
Finally, tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” rounded out the top five for April with a brand reputation index of 4,053,033.
