Actors Ahn Bo Hyun and Lee Sung Min may be starring in a new historical drama together!
On March 29, industry insiders reported that Ahn Bo Hyun and Lee Sung Min received offers to star in the new drama “God’s Beads” (literal title), which is likely to be broadcast on JTBC, and are positively reviewing their casting offers.
In response to the reports, Ahn Bo Hyun’s agency FN Entertainment shared, “[Ahn Bo Hyun] received an offer [to star in the drama ‘God’s Beads’] and is currently reviewing the offer.”
Lee Sung Min’s agency has yet to release a statement regarding his casting reports.
“God’s Beads” is known as a historical drama which will depict the friendship and love in an expedition team that sets out to find the sacred relics of their country. Produced by Celltrion Entertainment, “God’s Beads” will be a new drama by writer Jung Hyun Min of “Jeong Do Jeon,” “Assembly,” and “The Nokdu Flower” together with producing director Jung Dae Yoon, who helmed the dramas “Reborn Rich,” “I Am Not a Robot,” “She Was Pretty,” and “W.”
Ahn Bo Hyun was reportedly offered to play the role of Baek Gyeol, the leader of the convoy in search of the sacred beads. Baek Gyeol is the only son of Baek Cha Seung, who oversees the King’s military affairs.
Lee Sung Min was reportedly offered the role of military officer Choi Koo, a member of the convoy.
