aespa is back—and already topping music charts across the globe!
On October 21 at 6 p.m. KST, aespa made their highly-anticipated comeback with their new mini album “Whiplash” and its catchy title track of the same name. Shortly after its release, the mini album soared to the top of iTunes charts in various countries around the world.
By the morning of October 22 KST, “Whiplash” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 17 different regions, including Japan, Brazil, Thailand, Turkey, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Russia, Chile, Laos, Cambodia, Uzbekistan, Belgium, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
“Whiplash” also topped QQ Music’s and KuGou Music’s digital album sales charts in China, along with AWA’s realtime rising chart and Mora’s daily foreign singles chart in Japan.
